Towa and Mikado: Eh, they can be kind of enjoyable, but on the whole they bore me. Towa’s way too air-headed, and it bugs me how thick he is. He’s like a slightly less annoying Chiaki. Mikado’s got his kind of endearing moments of ~deredere~, but overall he’s a bit too smooth seme stereotype for me :/

Yukimura and Shinonome: Hate tsunderes, so already this pairing is at the bottom of the list for that alone. Yukimura’s tsundere personality doesn’t help at all in trying to figure out how much of his and Shinonome’s interactions were consensual, either. I’m not saying it’s like, Domestica-level rape or anything, but it treaded a little too close to the ~forced seduction~ trope in the beginning for me to care too much for it. Easily my least favorite storyline (why is the middle couple always like that for me? Egoist, Domestica, and now this… It’s a curse)

Nanao and Kuon: To be honest, I liked Mujihi na Otoko a lot more than I’ve liked Mujihi na Anata on the whole. I liked the really strange, weird relationship they had where Kuon seemed to genuinely hate Nanao but still had sex with him (and the bottom-on-top rape even though Kuon made no attempts to stop it [not that that makes it right, just makes it weird in BL at least]? Which MnA suggests was actually consensual on Kuon’s part? idgi…), and Nanao being a promiscuous bottom confident in his sexuality who flirts with anything but is really sensitive on the inside? I have such a weakness for those *____* Seeing them get-together, I really don’t usually like serious stories too much, but I quite enjoyed it. MnA seems to make Nanao too…sensitive and easily broken, and turns Kuon into this kind of obsessive possessive beast, which seems OOC compared to MnO, and I don’t really like it, but they’re still easily the most interesting of the three couples for me.
